A kitchen does not always need stripping out. When the cabinet carcasses are sound and the layout works, we can replace the parts that have worn out or make daily use awkward.

Our process
From enquiry to installation
We move from an initial price guide to a quotation based on measured dimensions, then manufacture, fit and check the furniture with you.
Initial price guide
Send photos, rough dimensions, the address and a note about what the furniture must do. We can discuss a price range before measuring.
Survey of the space
At the property we check walls, services, clearances and the route for bringing the pieces in. These measurements replace the first estimates.
Design and plans, when needed
We develop the layout and project drawings if the job requires them. They are free when you order the manufacture of that project from us.
Final quotation
The agreed layout, boards, finishes, fittings and installation appear in a written quotation with the final price.
Approval and deposit
You can review the specification before accepting it. The agreed deposit then starts the manufacturing order.
Making the furniture
We prepare the pieces to the approved dimensions and check the details needed for delivery and fitting.
Fitting on site
The team installs the furniture and adjusts doors, drawers, joints and visible finishing details.
Checking it with you
We test how the furniture opens and works together, inspect the finish and record any final adjustment.

If moisture, joints or the layout prevent reuse, we explain which units need replacing and compare that scope with a new kitchen. New doors on an unstable base would not solve the problem.

How to tell whether a partial kitchen update will work
A site visit reveals loose hinges, sagging shelves, swollen edges and the condition of the sink cabinet that photographs often miss. If the carcasses are sound, we measure each front and check drilling positions, clearances and opening beside walls or appliances. We do not assume every new door fits every old cabinet. Any adjustment that is needed is listed in the proposal.
Replacing a worktop may affect more than the visible surface. Hob and sink cut-outs need exact positions, the junction with the wall finish must be considered and we check whether removal could damage the units you want to keep. For a new dishwasher or fridge, we need the make and model to check depth, ventilation and door movement. Plumbing or electrical changes are identified separately.
We view front samples beside the installed floor, tiles and kitchen daylight rather than relying on a catalogue photograph. The quotation separates new pieces, adjustments to retained units and fitting. If design drawings are needed, they are free when you commission manufacture to the proposal. Once dimensions and materials are approved, we agree the deposit; after fitting, we check doors, drawers and finishing with you.
