Our process

From enquiry to installation

We move from an initial price guide to a quotation based on measured dimensions, then manufacture, fit and check the furniture with you.

Initial price guide
Send photos, rough dimensions, the address and a note about what the furniture must do. We can discuss a price range before measuring.
Survey of the space
At the property we check walls, services, clearances and the route for bringing the pieces in. These measurements replace the first estimates.
Design and plans, when needed
We develop the layout and project drawings if the job requires them. They are free when you order the manufacture of that project from us.
Final quotation
The agreed layout, boards, finishes, fittings and installation appear in a written quotation with the final price.
Approval and deposit
You can review the specification before accepting it. The agreed deposit then starts the manufacturing order.
Making the furniture
We prepare the pieces to the approved dimensions and check the details needed for delivery and fitting.
Fitting on site
The team installs the furniture and adjusts doors, drawers, joints and visible finishing details.
Checking it with you
We test how the furniture opens and works together, inspect the finish and record any final adjustment.

Are small appliances always the right choice?＋

No. We measure the worktop and circulation they leave, then ask how many people cook and what capacity you need. Saving space is unhelpful if it removes an important function.

In a small kitchen, measure the space in front of the cabinets too

To begin, send one photograph from the entrance and another of the main working wall. Include approximate width, length and height, plus windows and the positions of water, sockets and extraction. We draw appliances open on those measurements: a dishwasher needs loading space and the fridge door must allow interior drawers to come out. We also preserve a stretch for food preparation. Filling the wall with tall cabinets is of little help if no useful worktop remains.

We ask what you store and which appliances you actually use. A narrow dishwasher might release space for a wider drawer; a compact oven might not serve your household. Wall units can reach higher, but upper shelves are better reserved for occasional items. Corner fittings are not added automatically either: we check whether they pull out fully without striking the neighbouring cabinet and how much room the mechanism consumes.

Where the kitchen shares a living area or includes laundry, we measure the entire room in use. A breakfast bar needs leg space and clearance behind the chair; a folding table still occupies wall area when closed. The final proposal identifies cabinets, confirmed appliances, materials and fitting. If design drawings are needed, they are free when you commission manufacture to the project. Following survey and quote approval, we agree the deposit, make the furniture and check openings with you after fitting.
