Our process
From enquiry to installation
We move from an initial price guide to a quotation based on measured dimensions, then manufacture, fit and check the furniture with you.
Initial price guide
Send photos, rough dimensions, the address and a note about what the furniture must do. We can discuss a price range before measuring.
Survey of the space
At the property we check walls, services, clearances and the route for bringing the pieces in. These measurements replace the first estimates.
Design and plans, when needed
We develop the layout and project drawings if the job requires them. They are free when you order the manufacture of that project from us.
Final quotation
The agreed layout, boards, finishes, fittings and installation appear in a written quotation with the final price.
Approval and deposit
You can review the specification before accepting it. The agreed deposit then starts the manufacturing order.
Making the furniture
We prepare the pieces to the approved dimensions and check the details needed for delivery and fitting.
Fitting on site
The team installs the furniture and adjusts doors, drawers, joints and visible finishing details.
Checking it with you
We test how the furniture opens and works together, inspect the finish and record any final adjustment.

Plan a home study around routines, not floor area alone
Tell us how many days you work at home and whether the room also receives guests or is used for sleeping. An occasional position may sit beside a closed cupboard; a full working day makes screen placement, writing space and chair movement more important. If two people use the room, we check both routes before drawing a shared top. This helps avoid a drawer, wall bed or balcony door making one position impractical.
Files and equipment are planned from their real sizes. A printer needs room to open its trays and replace consumables; routers and other devices should remain reachable. We locate sockets and network points, while any electrical alteration is identified as separate work. We also look at daylight during the visit. A desk directly facing a window may seem appealing yet leave a screen difficult to see during calls.
Where the study shares a sitting room or bedroom, finishes are viewed beside the furniture that will stay. A door can hide work files at the end of the day while an open shelf holds books used by the household. The quotation lists furniture, fittings and installation. If design drawings are required, they are free when you commission the furniture built to the design. We survey, agree the proposal and deposit, then check the fitted result with you.
